Elizabeth River Men’s Ministry Team for a dinner meeting

 

Where do we go from here? While we have no idea what that change is going to look like, we do know that our call to reach men for the Kingdom of God will not change.  So, where do we go from here – regardless of what happens at General Conference? Instead of a banquet this year,  you are invited to join the Elizabeth River Men’s Ministry Team for a dinner meeting at Community UMC, 1072 Old Kempsville Road in Virginia Beach at 6:30 PM on Monday, January 27^th.  Our plan is to host representatives from Community, Deep Creek, Nimmo, St. Andrews’s, and Virginia Beach United Methodist Churches.  Each of these churches have dynamic men’s ministries.  They will share briefly about what they are doing and then we will be available for a town hall type discussion to guide us as we seek a way forward in “engaging, equipping, and empowering men to live for Jesus Christ.” Cost of the meal is $7 and you can RSVP at menofcommunityumc@gmail.com.
